Explorer Cafe is a trading partner to outdoor store Tiso in Aviemore.
We aim to meet their values in keeping things local where possible and to offer great and simple food with healthy options to reflect the outdoors audience of the store.

About Explorer

Located in leading outdoor retailer Tiso in Scotland's premiere all year outdoor activity resort village we like to consider our cafe as an important place to refuel before or after a great day outdoors.
Throughout our menu we have mixed some well known classics with local ingredients and inspiration and offer healthy options as well as little decadence in our cakes and dishes - we know you will have deserved it.

Northern Corries Blend Coffee

We are passionate about great tasting coffee. We also want to support local businesses so we teamed up with Kevin at Inverness Coffee Roasters and have produced our very own Northern Corries Blend inspired by the view from our cafe windows.

Our friends at Aviemore based Cairngorm Brewery have provided us with a branded "Kegerator" which allows to sell their draft beer. Further beers from Cairngorm Brewery and other local breweries are available by the bottle to enjoy in our cafe or to take home.

We are proud of our local sources of supply with the key people in the business have a combined experience in the food and drink trade of over three quarters of a century!
All of our meats come from the Highlands and Moray and our fish from Scottish sustainable sources.
